Budget Plan – Equal Monthly Payments
(Enrollment Period: May through July)
By participating in our Budget Plan, you will receive a discount of $0.05 per gallon off the market price of gas. Payments are based on previous usage or estimated usage and are due each month. May is our “settle-up” month where all balances are paid in full. If you are a COD customer, the balance is due at the time of delivery. E.M.P. customers that make their assigned payments monthly and settle up in April will receive a discount on the market price of gas.
Prebuy (Enrollment Period: July through August)
The prebuy program gives you the best value for your gas. The program is offered to our customers to purchase LP Gas at a fixed price for the heating season. A minimum of 500 gallons must be purchased. The LP Gas purchased must be paid for within 30 days of the contract. The prebuy gas must be used by April 30th of the following year. Any gallons remaining will change to credit on your account on May 1. If your credit is returned before April 30, then a 20% restocking fee will apply.
Capped Price (Enrollment Period: July through August)
Enrollment for this program begins in July and usually ends at the end of August. For a nominal fee, your gas price will not exceed the capped price. If you enroll in the Automatic Fill program, the capped price fee will be waived. The capped price remains in effect until April 30 of the following year.
Referral Credit
All existing customers that refer new bulk (250, 330, 500, and 1000 gal tanks) customers to us will be given a discount of $50.00 towards their next fuel delivery after we set up the new account. It’s our way of saying “Thanks” for the referral.
Automatic Fill
Customers who have been extended credit and have requested to be on automatic fill may be delivered automatically. You must notify us before the next delivery is made if you want to discontinue automatic fill. The capped price fee for automatic fill customers will be waived if all bills are paid within 30 days of the date of delivery. If bills are not paid in 30 days, the capped price will be removed and the customer will pay current rates. It should be noted that automatic fill customers should monitor their tank percentages, especially if their usage has changed for any reason. If your tank gets below 20% please notify us.
Scheduled Delivery
Customers who have been extended credit may schedule the months that they want gas to be delivered. You must notify us before the next delivery is made if you want to discontinue scheduled delivery. The capped price fee for scheduled customers will be waived if all bills are paid within 30 days of the date of delivery. If bills are not paid in 30 days, the capped price will be removed and the customer will pay current rates. It should be noted that scheduled fill customers should monitor their tank percentages, especially if their usage has changed for any reason. If your tank gets below 20% please notify us.
Will-Call Delivery
If you are not enrolled in our Automatic Fill program, you are a “Will Call” customer. We ask that all “Will Call” customers submit a request for delivery when the tank percentage is between 20% and 40%. We generally will deliver to you within 5 business days. Therefore, it is important to notify us in a timely manner when you need gas. If you require delivery within 24 hours, a Special Delivery Fee will be required and must be paid at the time of delivery. It is usually best to order gas when your tank percentage is at 40%. This enables us to get to you in a timely manner and also reduces the total amount of gas you receive in one delivery. Our minimum delivery is 200 gallons or a fill, whichever is lower.
Credit Status
A credit application may be submitted at any time to Gas Production Company, Inc. There is no charge for the first credit report. Any subsequent credit reports after the first will cost $25.00. We have three levels of credit standing. The first is Approved Credit. Approved credit means that you have 30 days from the date of delivery to pay. The next level is Conditional Credit. Conditional Credit still allows you to pay in 30 days, but if you carry a balance over 30 days, your credit privileges will be revoked and you must pay for goods and/or services at or before the time of delivery. The last level is Cash on Delivery (COD). This means that you must pay for goods and/or services at or before the time of delivery. Gas Production Company, Inc. reserves the right to reassign your credit status at any time based on your credit report or payment history. Any account that has had its gas service interrupted (shut off) due to nonpayment will automatically have its credit revoked and will become a COD account.
Billing
With each delivery, you will receive a billing invoice. All bills are payable at the time of delivery. If you have been extended credit, you have 30 days from the date of delivery in which to pay. If payment is received on delivery or within 10 days of delivery, you may be eligible for a discount off the regular price of gas that will be credited to your account upon receipt of payment. Please note that we will not accept third-party checks without prior approval. A late fee will be charged to all accounts that are past due and every 30 days thereafter until the balance is paid in full. If your account is more than 7 days past due, you will be subject to a service interruption (shut off). Allowing your account to become past due will also affect your credit status. If you need to make payment arrangements, please call our office as soon as possible.
Online Bill Pay / Gas Ordering
Customers who would like the convenience of paying their bill or ordering gas online can do so at www.gasproductioncompany.com. All major credit cards are accepted.
Service Interruption
If you allow your account to become past due, you will be subject to a service interruption (shut off) until your account balance is paid. Prior to interrupting service, we will attempt to contact you via email, US Mail, and telephone. If your service is interrupted, you will be charged a labor fee. Therefore, it is vitally important that all of your contact information is current. If your billing address or telephone number changes, you must notify us.
Minimum Yearly Delivery Requirements
Each tank size has minimum requirements for yearly delivery. The minimum delivery requirement for each tank size is as follows:

If the minimum delivery requirement for a particular tank size is not met, a fee will be charged.
Out of Gas Situations
Gas Production Company, Inc. places top priority on safety. It has been statistically proven that most gas leaks occur after a tank has run out of gas. When the system has lost pressure, leaks can develop. In addition, pilot safety systems can malfunction and release gas into your home or garage. If your tank runs out of gas you will need to schedule a system check. Therefore, our delivery driver will remove our first-stage regulator until a service call is scheduled. You will be charged for a service call to perform the system check. If the service call occurs after hours, an additional fee will apply. You or your representative will need to be present during the service call. It should be noted that it is illegal for you to attach any other cylinder to our regulators. In addition, it voids our contract.
Contract Termination
If for any reason, Gas Production Company, Inc. or you terminate the contract for propane, you will be charged a labor fee for picking up our equipment and a 20% restocking fee for any gas remaining in your tank. In addition, you will be billed for any missing or damaged equipment. Any credit remaining will be returned to you. According to our contract, you must provide 30 days written notice to terminate your account.
